Synopsis:
Empath JET MURPHY has so far been moderately successful at using Ecstasy and sex to keep her sleep terrors at bay. But when her uncle, VINCE MARINO, recruits Jet’s help with his grand reopening of The Washington Square Hotel –rumored to be haunted–visions of a horrific tragedy resurrect the trauma that landed Jet in a mental institution as a child.
Desperate for the sleep terrors to stop, Jet realizes that the only way to end them is to figure out what caused the murders she keeps seeing in her nightmares. Enlisting the help of two unlikely allies from her past—professor of psychiatry, DR. GEOFFREY ANSON, and TV host of Spirit Chasers, LAURA CHASE—Jet embarks on a dangerous, mind-bending path of discovery, which sets the trio on a collision course with the hotel’s sordid history and their own questionable pasts.
When the investigation reveals that a murderous demon not only walks among them, but also controls the hotel and all the dead souls inside it, Jet comes face-to-face with the grave reality that the only way to exorcise the demon is to destroy someone she loves.
A tornado of mystical upheaval ensues and rouses the dead souls to call upon Jet–their medium–to finally give history a voice, revealing a shocking truth about the demon’s origins. But truth alone won’t be enough to save Jet, Geoffrey, and Laura.
