Synopsis: A neglected boy with a savant-like gift to see processes and patterns witnesses a man die in a car crash, and learns the way to gain attention and “love” is to rescue the broken people around him. But after decades of rescuing, to the point of not knowing who he is anymore, he attempts to escape them all, to what could finally be a new life for himself. But old habits die hard in the crosshairs of a powerful, manipulative boss whose irrational demands for process improvements and thirst for revenge send him spiraling into a crash of his own and forcing him to see that the person he needs to extricate is himself.
